I am a 4th year business analytics major from Cleveland, Ohio. I enjoy watching sports, specifically soccer. Analytics in sports in a particular interest of mine, I’ve looked into programming for predictive analytics in sports relating to fantasy games. I also play intramural soccer here at UC.
I am in my fourth year here at UC like I said before. Majoring in business analytics and minoring in information systems.
This summer I had my first internship with 80 Acres Farms, I was a business intelligence intern. The work was mostly getting data from their database with SQL, and then putting it into power bi to create reports and dashboards that were given to stakeholders.
The past two semesters I have been using R in classes, most recently a visualization course and a forecasting course. I’ve began to use R mostly for visualizations and cleaning data. As it’s much easier and faster to clean data in R than in excel where I usually use my data.
I have experience with visualization softwares like tableau and power bi. As well as been looking into python recently, and have a strong grasp on SQL.
