Hello, my name is Izzat Gafurov. I am from Fergana, Uzbekistan. I enjoy playing soccer and ping-pong. I enjoy sorting and analying big data sets.

Academic Background

I am an international third year student majoring in finance and minoring in business analytics. I want to learn to apply all skills obtained throughout the courses in real life back in Uzbekistan.

Professional Background

I am a mentor for the students applying to the universities all around the world. Also, I am an active member of “Emerging countries and developing nations” club at the University of Cincinnati.

Experience with R

To be honest, I have never worked with any software programs. I am newbie in R. As I am minoring in Business Analytics, I hope to gain decent knowledge throughout the semester.

Experience with other analytic software

As I mentioned earlier, I do not have an experience with any analytic software, unless Excel is considered as one of them. I thought about it because we used to analyze and sort data in our BANA 2081 and 2082 courses.
