Introduction
Hello! My name is Devansh Patel. I’m a Business Analyst student passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and optimize organizational performance. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Business Analytics from the University of Cincinnati. I am particularly interested in predictive analysis and AI technology. I worked as a Business Analyst, and later as a Senior Business Analyst, at WebCraft IT in Indore, Central India. Over four years, I contributed to numerous projects, focusing on key tasks including:
- Data analysis, such as data cleaning and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
- Building machine learning models
- Improving business processes
- Developing Power BI dashboards to enhance decision-making and performance tracking.
Skill Set Overview
First of all, I have an intermediate understanding of R, developed through the Google Data Analytics Certificate course, “Data Analysis with R.” Although I haven’t used R in a professional setting, I have gained proficiency in utilizing RStudio, working with R packages such as Tidyverse, and managing dataframes. My skills include:
- Experienced with R packages, including the Tidyverse
- Capable of working with dataframes in R
- Able to create data visualizations in R
- Familiar with documenting analysis using R Markdown
Moving on to my other skills, I am proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL. I have expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, as well as strong proficiency in MS Excel and IBM-SPSS. Additionally, I am well-versed in using libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-Learn, and TensorFlow.
