Introducing Me

My name is Moyuri Sarkar. I am from Ranchi, India. I have lived there for 18 years of my life with my parents and my grandmother. It is a city situated in the state Jharkhand, which is now famous as a hometown of the former captain of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni. It is a beautiful city with growing architectural beauty and plenty of natural scenery.

Professional Background

Following my studies, I started working as a Application Development engineer for 3 years where my role included working with separate teams to enhance, upgrade or install the company applications/products into our clients environments. From my experience with such a vast field of knowledge, I gained my interest in Business Analytics and here I am pursuing a graduate degree in the same major. I would like to explore more with this area of study in the future.

Experience with R

I had studied R in my undergraduate for the first time. Since. then I had lost touch with this language. After joining University of Cincinnati for my Master’s degree, I again got to learn R. Through this course I am getting to learn about R more in depth. The course structure is pretty easy to understand and fun to explore.

Experience with Other Analytic Software

Power BI is one of the tools which I have used while gaining a professional experience. This is one of the data visualization software which was mostly used in the projects I worked. Also, I participated in a Data Mozart Power BI BootCamp this year which was quite interesting and informative.
