Academic Background

  • Graduated from Olentangy Berlin High School
  • Undergraduate student at the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business

Professional Background

Although before all else I am a student, I have worked in 2 different professional settings thus far as a part of my co op rotations. I worked in IT Project Management at Great American Insurance Group and also as an Operations Analyst at JP Morgan Chase on their Fraud Strategy team. In my professional experiences some of the skills I developed are:

  1. How to cleanse and analyze sets of data with hundreds of thousands of rows
  2. Document and manage projects and timelines 3 Develop workflows in Alteryx
  3. Data visualization
  4. Querying data in SQL

Experience with R

I did not have prior experience working with R. This class will be the first time I have learnt about R and its capabilities.

Experience with Other Analytics Software

I have worked with a few different analytics software like SAS, SQL and Python. This past summer we largely worked in SAS to do our data analysis and for all of our queries. I learnt mainly about the basics of coding and would not consider myself an expert by any means but I got a taste for what its like and how to manipulate data. Another software I got certified in is Alteryx which is a low code workflow and data analytics software. I found it to be a great solution to work with large data and see what you are doing conceptually.
