Introduction

Hello! I’m an analyst here at UC in CECH, just starting on the path towards a Masters in BANA. I started out my career as a marketing analyst/scientist working with a variety of brands to make sure the right people were seeing their ads, and buying their products. Ultimately, my goal has been to help companies optimize their marketing budgets to get the best return on investment possible.

Academic Background

My Day-To-Day

Currently, as an analyst for the College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology, my day-to-day can vary. Some of the common tasks I work through:

  • Creating / Updating Dashboards
  • Collaborating with stakeholders on internal enrollment/retention trends
  • Monitoring enrollment, retention, and graduation, trends across higher ed and highschool
  • Collaborating with other UC schools on data projects + project results

Experience With R

As a math major, I was first introduced to R for basic statistical computing. Since graduating, I have occasionally revisited R to maintain a baseline familiarity with the process but have not done any big/large scale projects outside of previous class projects.

Experience with Other Analytic Tools

As I progress in my career in marketing analytics my day-to-day switched over to more Python + SQL based coding. Other Tools + Programming Languages I’ve used in my career so far:
