Introduction
I am Enock Benedict Owusu, a Chartered Accountant and a Financial Economists. My niche career focuses on financial Forensics and fraud investigation. As corporate financial fraud is complex in nature, it’s imperative on fraud investigators to have a robust knowledge and skills coupled with modern technological tools to be able to prevent, investigate and successfully unravel and masks the faces behind such crimes. I always strive to build strong internal control mechanisms and robust risk management policies and tools in organizations I have worked for in my quest to protect the assets of those companies. I am a Ghanaian who grew up in rural Ghana. I have lived and worked in Accra, Ghana and Oulu in Finland.

I am currently a full time student of Carl H.Lidner college of Business, University of Cincinnati where I am pursuing a master of Science degree in Business Analytics. Prior to joining the program in August 2024, I had work in diverse roles in the accounting field with over 12 years experience.I have perform varying roles which include; • Financial Reporting and analysis, • Corporate cost controlling and budgeting, • Developing corporate internal control polices • Corporate Financial auditing and assurance
Experience with R
Prior to joining the University of Cincinnati College of Business, I started using R as part of my preparation to start my MS BANA studies. I have been using accounting software in my accounting related roles. I have experience in the use of SAS, Finex, excel and other customized accounting and financial reporting software.
