Introduction about Me

Hi! My name is Sandy and I am currently a 4th year and I will be graduating in the Summer 2025. I am currently involved Women In Finance, Lindner Women in Business, LEA (Latinx En Accion). Outside of classes I work at my part-time job at Panda Express. I enjoy reading, cooking, watching movies and TV shows. I was born and raised here in Cincinnati, Ohio but my ethnicity is Guatemalan, both my parent are from Guatemala.

Academic Background

I am currently majoring in Finance (with a subplan in Financial Panning) and Marketing with a Certificate in Business Analytics.

Professional Background

I am currently the VP of Marketing for the UC Women in Finance organization. Before working at Panda Express, I worked at Sherwin Williams where I got experience working in the customer service industry.

I have not yet had experience within Finance or Marketing but I am hoping to get an internship in the spring or summer.

Experience with R

I have had a little of experience with r, which I learned from previous class. We worked on projects on data visualization using ggplot2. I am still a little new to the concept of r but I am hoping that after this class I will have gained more experience.

However I do have experience with excel for data analysis, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts.
