Hello! I’m a faculty at UC-CEAS focussing on first-year engineering experience, and conducting research in engineering education. I grew up and studied in Cameroon (Africa). I lived in Cameroon, South Africa and the USA (Pennsylvania, and Ohio). However, I traveled for work in Benin, GH]hana, Tanzania, China, Italy.

Academic Background

Professional Background

Before joining UC as an Assistant Professor-Educator, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Cape Town, South Africa, and later at Villanova University in Pennsylvania, USA. My research focuses on system dynamics, mathematical modeling, applied nonlinear dynamics, and chaos theory. Since 2019, I have been deeply engaged in engineering education research, aiming to enhance the preparation of future engineers. I have also enjoyed developing international educational programs for students.

I have enrolled in this program to integrate my expertise in mathematics, system analysis, nonlinear systems, and programming with business decision-making.

Experience with R

I am quite new at using R. However, I have programming experience with Matlab, some Python, and old programming languages such as Turbo Pacal, and Fortran 90. I am very excited to learn R and use it for stattistical analysis.
