About Me:

My name is Prisha Srivastava. I am from India and I’m currently pursuing my Masters in Business Analytics at the University of Cincinnati. I’m passionate about data, technology, and making meaningful impacts through analytical insights.

Professional Background:

I spent 1.5 years at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as an Assistant Systems Engineer, where I played a key role in coordinating client requirements for Lloyds Banking Group in the BFSI sector.My responsibilities included providing on-call support for critical banking systems such as loan processing and credit card transactions.

Following my tenure at TCS, I transitioned to a startup as a Risk Analyst, where I focused on developing and analyzing flood insurance proposals. My role involved evaluating risk factors associated with flash floods, performing statistical analysis, and creating detailed reports to support decision-making processes. This experience helped in designing accurate insurance proposals and improving risk management strategies.

Academic Background:

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MS BANA) at the University of Cincinnati. I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Electronics Engineering, which I completed in 2022.

Experience with R:

I’m a beginner in R, currently enhancing my skills through coursework as part of my Master of Science in Business Analytics (MS BANA) program. I am learning the fundamentals of R, including data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization techniques.

Experience with Other Analytic Software

Besides R, I have experience using Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python and basic PowerBI.
