Hello! I am Ryan Morris. I’m in my third year working towards a degree in Business Analytics. I moved around a lot when I was younger, and settled in Cincinnati in high school. I have worked for fifteen years, and decided to return to school in 2022 to gain some perspective and skills as I look to take the next step in my working life.

Professional Background

I worked with Serv-U-Success at the retail store level. Serv- U works for Meijer in all of their stores. I managed a team of seven employees at a store in Indianapolis, delegating and monitoring their day to day tasks and ensured the distribution of over thousands of products to inline locations and displays. I was also responsible for ensuring completion of a variety of projects on the behalf of clients like:

Experience with R

I am at the beginning of my journey with R. I had worked through Code Academy’s free introduction course last spring at the recommendation of my BANA 2 professor, Dr. Jordan Crabbe. As I proceed in this journey, I am continuing to pursue learning other languages like Python. I have experience with Excel, and feel confident in my ability to navigate and learn in it. I also hope to get hands on with Power Bi, as my previous employer used it for their analysis distribution.
