Introduction to Me!

Hi! My name is Jack Hamburg. I am a senior in college majoring in Operations Management with a minor in Professional Sales. I grew up across the river in Hebron, Kentucky, right by the CVG airport. I am huge Cincinnati sports fan! I grew up watching the Bengals, Bearcats football and basketball, the Reds, and recently FC Cincinnati.

Professional Background

During my time in college, I have had three internships. I started out as a part-time unpaid intern at a consulting firm called TiER1 Performance Solutions. My first role was a member of a sprint team focused on identifying use cases for generative artificial intelligence for the company. My project involved creating a simple to-do list using HTML, which I had no previous experience with. After this initial role, I was invited to stay on for a full-time paid internship as a Project Management and AI intern. In this role, I developed a learning game to help employees integrate AI into their everyday work.

My second internship was at a logistics company called Reliable Transportation Solutions, where I worked as a sales intern. My responsibilities included selling loads to drivers across the United States and coordinating with shippers. This was my first experience in a sales role, which I enjoyed. I worked there for about six months.

My third and final internship was at EssilorLuxottica, where I served as a Technical Project Manager Intern in the Global Applications department. I managed a software deployment across over 2,000 stores worldwide. This experience was invaluable as it provided me with in-depth knowledge of project management, a field I am interested in pursuing further after graduation.

Experience with R and other analytic software

I have never used R or even heard about R until just recently when I started taking a class called BANA4080: Data Mining. So far I enjoyed learning about it. Besides my coding my to do list at TiER1 I have never used any coding software. I hope to learn more about this field before I graduate college.
