Hello! My name is Maxwell Bean. I am a current junior here at University of Cincinnati. I am originally born and raised in Centerville, Ohio which is located in the Dayton area.
Currently majoring in Insurance and Risk Management
Currently minoring in Business Analytics
Recently completed my first internship this summer. This internship was the position of Underwriter for a small E&S insurance company here in Cincinnati. My day to day work was to receive the quotes sent by brokers, do the research necessary to see if it fits our company, then quote with premium and terms.
Throughout high school I worked in retail with the likes of Rally House and Soccer Plus. These experiences helped me a lot with customer service and interaction.
Coding and R are both brand new to me. I do however find it very interesting and relevant in today’s world. I think Business Analytics is a great thing to have on a resume nowadays and this class will help me achieve that.
I look forward to getting more comfortable with R and to keep learning more every class!
