Introduction to Me!

Hello! I’m currently a fourth-year Operations Management student at the University of Cincinnati. I was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I’ve developed a passion for soccer. In the near future, I plan on being a soccer coach. As a first-generation college student, I take great pride in my academic journey and am excited about the opportunities ahead.

Academic Background

• I have an Associate’s Degree in Pre-Business Administration.
• I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management.

Professional Background

I have hands-on experience in multiple fields. Currently, I have worked as a flooring installer, photography assistant, and have also managed my own business as a sneaker reseller. My responsibilities have included:

• Installing various types of flooring for residential and commercial projects.
• Assisting photographers with equipment setup, lighting, and post-production tasks.
• Running a sneaker reselling business, which involved market research, inventory management, customer relations, and sales.

These roles have equipped me with practical skills in craftsmanship, customer service, entrepreneurship, and business operations.

Experience with R

I was first introduced to R last semester in my Forecast & Risk Analysis course. I have a solid understanding of the basics of R and have applied it in various class projects, including:

• Creating histograms to visualize data distributions.
• Analyzing time series data for forecasting purposes.
• Generating line plots to illustrate trends over time.

These projects have helped me build a foundational proficiency in using R for data analysis and visualization.

Experience with Other Analytic Software

Apart from R, I’ve also gained experience with Excel through various courses. I have used Excel for:

• Performing complex data analysis and creating pivot tables.
• Creating charts and graphs to visualize data and trends.
• Utilizing advanced functions and formulas for data manipulation and analysis.

These skills have complemented my work with R and enhanced my overall data analysis capabilities.
