An Introduction of Me

I’m Jack Hennegan, a current 4th year studying Aerospace Engineering with a business analytics Minor. I really enjoy my involvement around UC’s campus as I’m Chief of Staff for CEAS Tribunal managing a handful of our committees who plan our amazing events. I’m also the President of AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) where I manage our exec team, plan awesome events, and represent student views when working with Aerospace faculty and Admin.

My Academic Background

As mentioned, I’m in Aerospace Engineering. I pursuded a degree in engineering because I had a passion for Aviation and Problem solving, but I always had an interest in business, I was in DECA for two years in high school which I really enjoyed. Business Analytics was the best way for me to combine my technical and business route. My background in coding I think really gave me a good insight into all of this and hope I can use it going forward.

Professional Background

Professionally, I’ve worked three previous co-ops one with Satco-inc, a small air-cargo manufacturer in Loveland, where I was a Testing and Process Co-op. I then worked two rotations with Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA where I worked in System Safety working on incident Assessment and Analysis. For my most recent work, I worked in Electro-Mechanical System Design with our Doors, Equipment and Furnishings team working on design changes, configuration management and revision validation.

Experience with R & Analytics Software

While I’ve never worked in R prior to this, I’ve had experience in Python, SQL and Oracle ERPs, as well as VBA and PowerBI. I’ve had extensive experience with most of these softwares working mostly in VBA and SQL in a professional setting but using all of them in academic ones.
