Introduction

Hello Everyone! My name is Devam Desai. I am a graduate student in the MS in Business Analytics program at the university of Cincinnati. I am from a city named Ahmedabad in India. That is where I was born and grew up.I have also spent some years of my life in the southern part of India where I completed my high school from a boarding school.

Professional Background

Currently I am a full time student however, I have held a few positions in the past. Most of them were either internships or on campus jobs during my undergraduate degree I have worked as a full time emplyee for around a year before starting my masters program. I worked as an analyst for a pharmaceutical manufacturer (who was mostly into private labeling/contract manufacturing) in order to study and understand the market since they were in the process of launching their own broand on pharmaceuticals and nutraceutical. As I pursue my masters degree i am a part-time graduate assiatnt on campus.

Experience with R

I have had the chance to be ecposed to R during my undergradte program where a few classes in my Junior and Senior year were highly dependent on R. Apart from that i have taken a few online course to better understand R. I would place myself in the middle of a beginner and an intermediate when it comes to ranking my R expertise.

Experience with other softwares

I have some experince with tableau which i have gained my taken online courses and self-learning. A class this semesters is heavily reliant of tableu which will give me a chance to learn it even further. I am also in the process of learning python and SQL.
