Hello! My name is Leigha Timberlake and I am a 3rd year here at the University of Cincinnati. I am studying Business Analytics and have a passion in the sports industry. My dream is to be a sports analyst for FC Cincinnati, as I also have a strong liking for soccer.

Professional Background

I am currently working for Recon Services, my family’s company, as a general accountant. My day-to-day work includes

  • assessing client billing by tracking each service provided to the customer along with the prices and totals.
  • preparing data sheets of receipts collected and categorized from each employee to keep track of paychecks.

My Experience with R and Python

I have never used R in the past, but I am excited to learn it! I have a very basic knowledge of Python as I used it in a previous class, but never learned the foundations of it. This class seems very helpful in actually learning the code along with what it all does.
