Hello! My name is David Stehura. I’m currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics at the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business, with the goal of earning a Masters in Business Analytics. I grew up and currently live in Cincinnati, and have also lived in Cleveland, Chicago, Taipei, Los Angeles, and Sao Paulo.
Currently I am working primarily as a warehouse associate for Amazon in Northern Kentucky and interviewing for Data Analyst roles. I grew up with the dream of going to medical school to become a doctor, but spent the decade following undergrad working as a volunteer in the non-profit sector, mostly in Brazil. Ideally, I would like to find a role in Cincinnati where I could apply both the latest trends in Data Science and Data Engineering with elements of my chemical engineering background.
My experience with R Programming Language began 4 years ago when I audited the course Data Analysis for Social Scientists (MITx 14.310x), and then continued a couple years ago when I completed the course Data Analysis with R Programming as part of the Coursera Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.
Going back to my undergraduate years, I relished analyzing experimental data and solving complex chemical equations, and became very proficient in Excel as a result. I also have some limited experience with Minitab for statistical analysis and statistical process control. These days, I am also sharpening my skills in Python through some courses on Data Camp.
