Introduction to Me!

Hiya! I’m a biologist, with a knack for engineering. I’m still early on in my professional career, but have diverted from my degree and begun to delve into the world of data. I was born in Bangladesh but moved to the U.S.A. when I was 3 years old. My family started off in New York, but we finally ended up in Ohio, where we’ve lived ever since.

Academic Background

• B.S. in Biology (University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH)

Professional Background

Currently I am working full-time as a Data Standard Analyst at Medpace, working on organizing and assuring data is following FDA guidelines. My daily tasks includes:

• Implement data standards
• Create specifications for study level data to be standardized
• Validate that data follows regulations

Experience with R

I have no prior experience with R, however I have heard many great things about this powerful prgramming language, and am excited to add it to my collection of “tools”!

Experience with SAS

I have been using SAS at my current job for nearly two year now. Prior to this job, I had no knowledge in SAS and did not even know it existed! I have performed mainly data management tasks such as:

• Importing excel and csv files to perform analysis on
• Deriving new data from existing results
• Organizing data based on FDA and other standards
