The Harvest Intercontinental American University (HIAU) administered entrance exams as a way of selecting candidates for admission into its undergraduate colleges. We use the exam results to determine the selection of candidates capable of doing college coursework without further high school preparation. The exam is a digitized or Computer-Based Test (CBT).
\(\color{brown}{\textbf{Exam Registration Period:}}\) The entrance exam registration lasted from June 14 to current.
\(\color{brown}{\textbf{Exam Administration Period:}}\) The exam is a digital rolling exam which began on June 21, 2024. Since the administration of first exam, we have administered three additional exams.
This scoring system for HIAU 2024 Entrance Exam Results is designed to be clear and transparent, ensuring that everyone is well-informed. The results have five categories:
\(\color{green}{\textbf{successful}}\) - candidates who scored at least 40% in Mathematics and at least 40% in English, allowing them to enroll straight into our regular program.
\(\color{skyblue}{\textbf{remedial}}\) - candidates who scored at least 30% in English or Mathematics and have an average of at least 35% when their English and Mathematics scores are combined. Remedial could be in English or Mathematics. Remedial candidates will have one semester of intensive coursework to address their deficiencies.
\(\color{magenta}{\textbf{double remedial}}\) - candidates who scored at least 30% and less than 40% in Mathematics \((30 \le \text{Mathematics} < 40)\) and scored at least 30% and less than 40% in English \((30 \le \text{English} < 40)\). To address their deficiencies, candidates will have one semester of more intensive coursework in English and Mathematics.
\(\color{orange}{\textbf{repeat}}\) - candidates who scored below 30% in Mathematics and at least 40% in English, or vice versa. To address their deficiencies, candidates are encouraged to retake the exam in the deficient subject.
\(\color{red}{\textbf{unsuccessful}}\) - candidates who scored less 40% in English and Mathematics with either their English or Mathematics score less than 30%.
