Estimated aires de sante in Cote d’Ivoire subdistricts with heterogeneous prevalence of schistosomiasis

These aire de sante boundaries were created in Crosscut, an online tool for making catchment areas around point locations.

It uses information including landcover, roads, waterbodies and settlements to assign areas of land to their nearest points.

The point locations we used were a list of geocoded health facility locations.

Some of the health facility locations are taken from school survey datasets, which include information on which aire de sante each school belongs to.

Other health facility locations were found using online tools.

It was not possible to find coordinates for the following aires de sante, and so they are not included. For these aires de sante, consider them to be joined with their neighbours:
