Exposure to music has a positive effect on undergraduate students and extroversion states. Music has the ability to act as an universal language among all cultures and backgrounds. In our study we aimed to show consistency between amount of music exposure, music genre, and increased state of extroversion.
We provided “Hey-Ya” an upbeat tempo, fun song by Outkast randomly to participants.
We provided “hey-Ya” a somber version of the same song by Eden randomly to participants.
