Hurricane Beryl Storm, Heat, and CO Report

Hurricane Beryl made landfall in near Matagorda, Texas as a category 1 hurricane with 80mph winds at 4am on 7/8/24. Over 2 million people were without power on 7/8 and 258,000 million remain without power on 7/15/24. As of July 12, at least eight people were reported dead in the Houston metro region according to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences .
