Histogram

df <- read_csv("train.csv")
## Rows: 891 Columns: 12
## ── Column specification ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
## Delimiter: ","
## chr (5): Name, Sex, Ticket, Cabin, Embarked
## dbl (7): PassengerId, Survived, Pclass, Age, SibSp, Parch, Fare
##
## ℹ Use `spec()` to retrieve the full column specification for this data.

hist(df$Fare)

I chose to do a histogram of the distribution of fare cost among passengers. The question this attempts to answer is “What is the distribution among teh amount passengers paid for a ticket?”. This will give me insight into the visualization of the average cost of ticket for passengers.

Barplot

df <- read_csv("train.csv")
## Rows: 891 Columns: 12
## ── Column specification ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
## Delimiter: ","
## chr (5): Name, Sex, Ticket, Cabin, Embarked
## dbl (7): PassengerId, Survived, Pclass, Age, SibSp, Parch, Fare
##
## ℹ Use `spec()` to retrieve the full column specification for this data.
## ℹ Specify the column types or set `show_col_types = FALSE` to quiet this message.
barplot(df$Age, names.arg = df$PassengerId,
xlab = "PassengerId", ylab = "Age",
main = "Passengers and Their Age")

I chose to do a barplot of the passenger’s age by using the X-axis as the passenger Id and the Y-axis as their age. This gives me information about the age of each corresponding passenger on the Titanic.
