Context: Both t-shirts are size M, the black one is an original version, and the white one is the first replica version (V1) from Pakistan.

Stitching :

Front logo “heart”:

- The top of the logo is quite good, however, the bottom of the logo needs to be revised as it is slightly distorted compared to the original.

- The color of the original seems more matte than on the V1.

- The stitching triangles descend very slightly further on the original version at the top of the heart and do not close the heart at the bottom but continue directly to form the A :

Back logo “AMI”:

- The cardboard used as backing for the stitching on the back does not appear on the original :

- Some stitching lines seem to have shifted on the V1: at the top of the A, on the M, at the bottom of the A. It would be necessary to try to make the letters more straight.

- The stitching in the middle of the A needs to be reviewed.

Collar stitching:

The collar measurement seems different. To the naked eye, the measurement from the top to the bottom of the original collar is 2.0cm from the top to the first stitch and 2.1cm from the top to the second stitch (V1 is 2.4/2.6). These measurements should be reviewed :

- Collar joint too thick :

- The lower part of the V1’s collar band appears larger than the original to the naked eye. Dimension needs to be re-measured on the back band :

Upper sleeve collar joint at the connection with the collar:

- Some superfluous stitching points with the V1 compared to the original, it is necessary to see if they are necessary or if it is possible that they do not appear :

Label :

The “off-white” color is close to the original, which is good. However, there is a significant problem with the texture of the labels.

Size label:

- The “M” is not the correct size on the label, it needs to be slightly reduced.

- The inner end of the label is inserted into the stitching and does not come out on the original, unlike the replica.

Washing label:

- Texture not good :

- Review the width of the label. Currently, on the V1 it measures 4.9x10.5 compared to 5.2x10.5 :

- Review the fitting on the stitching :

Collar label:

- The texture is very different.

- A solution needs to be found so that the seam marking points are no longer visible as they do not appear on the original.

- On the V1, there are 4 stitching points on the ends used to secure the label, only 2 for the original :

Cardboard label:

- Slight difference in shade and texture on the label between the original and the V1.

- On the front part, the ink seems to have trouble holding on to the texture of the V1 label.

- V1 holes slightly too low compared to the original.

- Glue trace on the end of the V1 thread :

Personal notes:

This is a good first version that can be significantly improved.

- The main points of work, in my opinion, are the texture of the internal labels and that the front “Heart” and back “AMI” sewing logos tend toward perfection.
