The dashboard is to give a glance into the marine pollution occuring in Queensland and the map gives a contrast on regions where pollution is reported and the ports in Queensland to give an idea of which all ports are reported with Marine Pollution.
Thus we see some ports having cases of Marine Pollution and the investigation continues to the frequency of the cases reported across the regions, with Brisbane having the most cases reported across 2002 to 2020 period and then the causal effects are investigated leading to point fingers at Ships contributing to the most cases across the regions.
This leads to the question of which pollutants are responsible for the pollution and Diesal is found out to be the pollutant with the most incidents and we see that the water ratings across many regions saw a decrease in the water rating with some regions having significant increase in the rating as the years went by, but still many regions have compartively lower water ratings which points us to the direction of collective action to reduce these incidents and save our water bodies and ourselves.
