Overview
The purpose of this dashboard is to keep track of the inflation in
Australia and the underlying effects on the economy. The Consumer Price
Index (CPI) measures the cost of everyday items and services such as
food, rent and utilities.
We track the historic trend of the
Consumer Price Index, the inflation rate in every state in Australia and
the current CPI.
We also track the effects of the inflation on the
economy by looking at the historic trend in GDP, change in inflation in
various sectors, effect of inflation on supply and demand.
