About me

Hi, I’m a business student majoring in Business Administration at CSUB. My current objectives are to maintain good grades as well as find an internship where I can learn and grow. My career goal is work in the marketing field within the agriculture industry. Throughout this semester, I have learned that I am interested in business analytics.

Academic Background

I’m currently pursuing Business Administration with a concentration in marketing at CSUB.

Professional Background

I have nearly three years of experience as Server at Red Lobster. There, I accommodated to a variety of guests to ensure their satisfaction. Furthermore, I recently finished up an internship at Grimmway Farms, where I worked with multiple data sets to create data visualizations that aid in assessing product categories to better understand the elements that influences demand for the product.

Experience with Excel

I have five years of prior experience with Excel. I first was exposed to Excel my junior year of high school in a dual enrollment class called Perspectives in Business and Financial Literacy. In addition, I have taken several classes throughout my college experience that use Excel as a tool. More recently, I finished an internship at an established agribusiness where I used Excel daily to create data visualizations for business reviews.

Experience with R & Tableau

I have some prior experience with R and Tableau. In spring of 2024, I took a Marketing Research and Control class where I learned to create data visualizations using both the platforms. They are both extremely useful when working with and analyzing large data sets.

Experience with other analytic software

I have some prior experience with Python. When I was a senior in high school, I took a computer science class for a semester that focused on using Python. I am interested in gaining more skill in both Python and Tableau because they can both be useful in my future career.
