Consumer insolvencies were down 4.2% from February and up 13.2% year-over-year.
Alberta experienced a stunning decline in its annual rate of growth of consumer insolvencies in March 2024, its lowest 12-month rate of growth since February 2021.
CPs represented 85.2% of all March consumer insolvencies, leading all provinces in March.
AB has 155 FSAs. Those averaging less than 6 monthly consumer insolvencies are filtered out, leaving 76 FSAs.
