Rolling Stones Review Sentiment Analysis
Taylor Swift Versus Lana Del Rey
Rolling Stones magazine is known for their reviews on musicians and their albums. These in depth reviews dive into the lyrics and meaning of the album as well as looking at tempo and utilization of instruments. IN addition to this, the reviewers also input their reactions, positive or negative.
I will be looking at the differences in sentiment analysis between two album reviews of Lana Del Rey: “Norman F*cking Rockwell”, “Lust for Life”, and “Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd” and two of Taylor Swift’s: “The Tortured Poets Department” , “Midnights”, and “Folklore”.
Questions:
- Out of these two artists, who’s albums are viewed in a more positive light?
- What year did the artist have the most satisfied reviews?
- How does the emotional sentiment differ by artist?
