The presentation was very interesting and I would like to thank you for organising it for our class. I have been working for a company for some time now but I have realised how far behind the company is in terms of modern technology. Many terms or programs were discussed during the presentation that were not unknown to me. The company where I work also uses the SAP program that I and my colleagues work with on a daily basis. A big positive for me from the presentation was that I could see that the IBA company is reducing paper usage by using modern technology. I think this is their best effort for sustainability. In my opinion, such a situation has already developed in the world regarding the pollution and exploitation of nature that even small improvements and changes by any company can make a big difference in this regard. I am most hopeful that the modernisation of technology and the development of artificial intelligence will help our world to recover greatly from the constant damage to nature. Companies that embrace digital transformation initiatives can be committed to environmental responsibility and potentially make it more attractive to environmentally conscious customers and investors. The presentation showed that a high level of digitalisation is present in all key departments and positions. It is likely that this will also drive the efficiency of the company, as storing everything digitally can speed up the speed of their work. For me, what was most interesting was Identity management - midpoint, which refers to the processes and technologies that enable the management of digital identities within an organisation. I hadn’t heard of this before probably because not many companies have adopted it yet. That said, the development of modern technology is quite accelerated, but one of the drawbacks of this could be that it could even replace people’s tasks or positions in the future. Technological advances such as automation and artificial intelligence can increase productivity. However, there are concerns that it could make people in different positions redundant.
