  1. An automobile manufacturer has four colors available for automobile exteriors and three for interiors. How many different color combinations can he produce?

First I set the number of colors avaiable for the exterior, next I set the number of colors for the interior, and calculated the total combinations.

exteriors <- 4
interiors <- 3

total_combinations <- exteriors * interiors

total_combinations
## [1] 12

There are 12 different combinations
