Literature review and Presentation on an Animal Nutrition Research.

Overview

For this assignment, you will be working in pairs (refer Table 1) to review and present a scientific research paper related to animal nutritional research experiments. The purpose of this assignment is to develop your ability to work collaboratively, to analyze scientific research papers related to animal nutrition, and to effectively communicate the findings to others.

Instructions

This assignment has two parts (A & B)

Part A

(7%)

  1. Choose a paper: First, select a scientific research paper (peer reviewed) on animal nutritional research experiments. You can choose any topic that interests you, but make sure the paper has a clear experimental setup that is explained in the methods section.

  2. Write a critical analysis : Write a 1200 word review of the chosen paper. The review should capture the whole component of the article which includes its rationale, objectives, methodology, results, discussions and conclusion. This portion carries 7 points out of 15. Guidelines and Formatting
  • A cover page with Title, Member names with SID in bracket and contribution of individual member.
  • Text should be font style Times New Roman, 12 size and single spaced.
  • Referencing should follow APA 7th format.

Part B

(8%)

Prepare a presentation of your chosen paper to the class. The presentation should be 8 minutes long followed by 8 minutes of Q & A, and should capture the following:

  • Rationale and Objectives: Explain the objectives and rationale of the study.
  • Experimental design: Describe the experimental design of the study, including details on the animal subjects, treatments, and measurements taken.
  • Data collection: Describe how data was collected, including any specific instruments or techniques used.
  • Data analysis: Explain how the data was analyzed, including any statistical tests used.
  • Results and discussion: Present the results of the study and the conclusions drawn by the authors. Discuss any limitations of the study and suggest areas for future research.
