Introduction

The article I chose from all the selection is Do Pulitzers Help Newspapers Keep Readers? The article talked about the economic challenges that newspaper is facing and wanted to see whether there was any relationship between the Pulitzer Prizes and a newspaper’s commercial success. The Pulitzers was concern about consumers gravitating toward news outlets that produce work of Pulitzer quality? Or are these newspapers struggling even more than others?

Conclusion

comparing the score for “Prize Winner and Finalists Score 1990-2013” vs “Prize Winner and Finalists Score 2004-2014” we noticed that there a drop on the reader which might indicate that reader weren’t interested much in reading newspaper. Meanwhile for “Prize Winner and Finalists Score 1990-2014” there is a big increase on the reader for newspapers. We don’t have much conclusive data that show which factor that causes the decrease and the increase.
