Introduction to Me

Hello! I’m Kazuhide Watanabe, a third-year Information Systems major and Business Analytics minor. Although I am Japanese, and I have spent a significant amount of time in the United States, I was actually born in Belgium. I moved multiple times, but I’ve mostly grown up in Northern Kentucky.

Although I am currently a student at the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, I have had an the privilege to be at Toyota Boshoku in Toyota-shi, Japan as a Sales Planning and Development Research intern. My day-to-day work included:

  • Gathering and analyzing market trend data
  • Formulate short and long term strategic plans
  • Collaborating with colleagues in both local and global employees

Experience with R and Other Analytic Software

This BANA 4080 class is my introduction to the programming language R. I have minimal experience with Python, and I am also learning other languages in my classes this semester, including SQL, html, CSS, and Javascript. I am still new to coding overall, so this class including the others will be my guide to the introduction of coding.
