Objectives
The PSA 7s (or Unionbank Digital 7s League) is a grassroots league that aims to:
- Provide an outlet for youth competition in Southern Metro Manila and the Southern Provinces of Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas.
- Promote consistency in competition for grassroots development.
- Cater to boys and girls from U6 to U17.
- Provide a platform for showcasing skills and developing football techniques among Filipino youth.
Structure
- Inspired by the JSSL National Leagues of Singapore.
- Multiple divisions per age group to match players’ skill levels.
- Divisions range from Elite teams in Division 1 to recreational players in Division 5.
- This will allow schools and clubs to field multiple teams as they will be classified through different divisions.
- Will allow for the most number of possible teams to encourage to join.
Main Aims
- Ensure consistency in competition.
- Maintain scheduling consistency.
- Provide a stable outlet for youth league competition.
Venue
- Vermosa Sports Hub: FIFA level Football Field
- Saturdays and Sunday fixtures
