This table provides the respective means of the morphological and biochemists characters chosen for analysis for each accession studied (genitors and hybrids), where accessions 1 through 9 are the genitors and 10 through 29 are hybrids. The hybrids’ corresponding genitors are between parenthesis.

Description of the morphological and biochemists characters studied:

MFL: Length of mature fruit, expressed in millimeters (mm).

PH: Plant height, expressed in centimeters (cm).

FW: Width of the fruit, expressed in millimeters (mm).

PT: Thickness of the pericarp, expressed in millimeters (mm).

VCC: Vitamin C content, expressed in milligrams per hundred grams (mg 100g^(-1)).

SSC: Soluble solids content, expressed in degrees Brix (°Brix).
