Zero finding atau pencarian nol adalah istilah yang digunakan dalam konteks matematika dan komputasi untuk merujuk pada proses menemukan nilai di mana suatu fungsi mencapai nilai nol atau nol. Dalam matematika, nilai di mana suatu fungsi sama dengan nol disebut sebagai akar atau solusi dari fungsi tersebut.
Proses zero finding seringkali melibatkan teknik atau metode numerik yang dirancang untuk mencari solusi numerik dari suatu persamaan atau fungsi. Beberapa metode umum yang digunakan untuk zero finding melibatkan teknik iteratif, seperti metode Newton-Raphson, metode bisection, atau metode interpolasi.
