  • Contains data on more than 300 familiar food items.

  • Each item is accompanied by macro-nutrient information.

  • Includes: calories, fats, saturated fats, protein, carbohydrates, and fiber.

Average person:

0.6-0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of bodyweight

Main places to consume your protein :

Meat, Poultry

Seeds and Nuts

Fish, Seafood

Dairy products

Cluster Analysis

Note that Fish and Seafood are the leaner, and Seeds and Nuts are fattier and with less protein.

Very clear that each category has a pattern.

Distribution

The element of Fiber

Protein is not known for being a high source of fiber.
More of the Items that fall under the seed and nuts category have traces of Fiber.
