Voice call quality

1 Introduction

Investigated the call quality of a certain telecommunications provider

  • Conducted an experiment using a Raspberry Pi to control an Android phone to make calls to a specific number, recording them as WAV files on the Raspberry Pi.

  • Repeatedly made calls to capture any audio distortions in the call recordings.

  • An analysis of the audio components in the WAV files was conducted to identify instances of distorted call audios.

Presented samples of these distorted call audios in this report.
