The purpose of the product is to:

Summarize by Borough and see how many Tobacco Licenses were granted in Corona, Queens vs. other Neighborhoods in 2023. NYC Open Data was used and it based on “Legally Operating Businesses” according to the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP).

Results

The Summary Statistics from the Data Frames created show that no new “Legally Operating Businesses” with Tobacco Licenses were issued in Corona, Queens in 2023. However, in Corona, Queens there were two opened in 2022, and 18 opened in other Boroughs in 2023.
