Aim

The purpose of the product is to:

Show the difference per Borough in Math Proficiency and ELA Proficiency using 2021 DOE Middle School Data. In order to express the data, summary statistics were used. Due to the large amount of data, only the top 10 schools in descending order were used.

Results

The stand out results from this data is that in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, Math and ELA Proficiency stands above average in the top 10 schools. However, in the Bronx and Staten Island, these Proficiency’s are at or below average, with the highest being 75% (Math) in Staten Island and 64% (Math) in the Bronx.
