MRI Consensus Measurements

The following line plots show the subject-wise change from conventional (Conv) to jet (Jet).

The following boxplots show the distribution of the subject-wise differences between Jet and Conv.

The mean (SD, standard deviation) measurements for each dimension are summarized below by Conv vs Jet, and compared by the paired t-test. In particular, CC measurements are significantly lower in Jet as compared to Conv.

Table 1. Mean (SD) for each dimension by Conv vs Jet.
Dimension Conv Jet p
AP 28.3 (3.7) 32 (5.1) 0.285
TR 27.8 (3.1) 27 (1.8) 0.685
CC 32.3 (3.6) 27.8 (3.3) 0.04

HistoPath TZ Measurements

Similarly, the line plots below show the subject-wise measurement change from Conv to Jet in each zone.

The boxplots below show the distribution of the subject-wise differences between Jet and Conv.

Finally, the following table summarizes the mean (SD) of measurements for each zone by Conv vs Jet and compares them by the paired t-test. In particular, superior measurements are significantly lower in Jet as compared to Conv, while anterior and posterior are borderline significantly lower.

Table 2. Mean (SD) for each zone by Conv vs Jet.
Zone Conv Jet p
Superior 8.2 (2.6) 4 (1.5) 0.018
Inferior 6.2 (4.1) 3.3 (0.8) 0.271
Anterior 8.5 (3.7) 3.8 (1.5) 0.054
Posterior 6.3 (2.7) 4 (1.3) 0.078
Medial 5.8 (1.8) 4.2 (1.3) 0.12
Lateral 6.5 (3.4) 5.2 (1.3) 0.825
