Guide to R for SCU Economics Students, v. 3.0
Web Version 3.0, September 11, 2015
This guide was designed for use by Economics majors at Santa Clara University. The Guide consists of tutorials that will help you learn how to conduct a variety of statistical analyses and manage your data in R. The tutorials refer to accompanying R scripts and sample data sets, which can be downloaded here: The file files42.zip contains all the tutorials and data sets.
For each tutorial, you should open the accompanying script in RStudio and follow the instructions in the tutorial step by step, running the lines of script as called for, and examining the results. The later tutorials build on the earlier ones, so do them in order.
