SEFTC 2050 SLR Assessment

SLR Impacts on SERPM9 vs. 4-ft SLR

This assessment uses 2 methods to estimate the impacts of SLR on SERPM9 households and jobs.

  1. Centroid approach - if a MAZ centroid is not impacted by 0ft of SLR but is impacted by 4ft of SLR, then all households and jobs in the MAZ are affected.

  2. Tipping point approach - if an MAZ is is covered 30 percent or more by SLR in the 4 ft. scenario versus the 0 ft. scenario, then all jobs and household are assumed to be impacted.
