Table 1: Incident Types

This table lists the types of incidents as well as valuable information for each type of incident include the median auto year, median claim amount, median age of the policy holder, and total amount of incidents. One point that stands out is the significant difference in median claim amounts of the collisions compared to parked car and vehicle theft. Also, the median claim amount on single car collisions is slightly greater than that of multiple car collisions.

Table 2: Incidents by Time Frame

This table lists several time frames throughout the day and the amount of incidents during each time window. Along with that information is the median auto year, median claim amount, and median age for each incident in their respective time frames. Based on this table, the most common times for incidents are from 10 a.m - 4:59 p.m. or midnight - 5:59 a.m.. This may be a result of the time frames being longer than the other time frames.

## time_frame median_auto_year median_claim_amount median_age Totals

Table 3: Time Frames Grouped by Incident Types

Similarly to the last table, this table examines the median auto year, median claim amount, and median age of each incident per time frame. However, this table groups each time frame by the type of incident. During the daytime hours, the rates of single and multicar collisions rises. However, at night moving towards the morning hours, the rates of vehicle theft rises significantly.

Graph 1: Insurance Claims by Type of Incident and Time of Day

This graph presents information on the total amount of claims based on each time frame of the day. These bars are then broken into how many claims based on type of incident. This graph makes is easy to compare how many incidents, and what type of incidents are happening at different time frames throughout the day.

Graph 2: Rates of Incidents by Time

This graph shows the rates of each incident at a given time. Even though the time intervals may not be equal in length, that is not relevant in this graph as it shows the rate of each incident. Two main points stand out in this graph. First, there is a significantly greater rate of vehicle theft from 6 a.m. - 9:59 a.m.. Also, the greatest rate of multi-vehilce collisions is from 6 p.m. - 9:59 p.m.
