Welcome to yet another edition of the Monthly Animal Health Epi-Lab Report. In this issue, a general overview of the animal disease events reported to MAAIF between January – December 2022 is provided as well as a summary of reporting status by districts and cities in Uganda.

4. Goat Pox

A comparison of animals at risk and those vaccinated of pox

Monthly data indicates low levels of vaccination (being the intervention) were done in 2022 despite noticing very high numbers of animals at risk, cases and deaths reported throughout the year
