Synopsis of Me

Hello! My name is Ayush Parmar and I am a second year Business Analytics major at the University of Cincinnati. I love all sports, but my favorite sport is basketball. In my free time I enjoy:

Academic Background

I got my high school diploma in 2022 from Springboro High School. This is a local public school about 30 minutes south of downtown Dayton, Ohio. I am working towards a B.S. in Business Analytics. I expect to graduate in May 2025.

Professional Background

This past summer, I was working as an Internal Auditor for Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. During this experience I learned a lot about SOX audit practices. I also was able to work with many of the park specific departments to audit operational controls. I am currently still working in Internal Audit, however I am now helping bring analytics and automation to the department.

Experience with R

I currently have no previous experience with R. I actually have not learned too much past the basics of any coding language so I felt that this would be the perfect class.

Experience with Other Analytical Software

I have a lot of experience working with Microsoft Excel. I also have used PowerBI multiple times, but only in workshop settings. I am also taking a data visualization class, working with Tableau this semester.
