10/20/2022: Through the Lens of Accessibility Panel
I hope this is presented annually. I found it to be very informative. I
learned several things I had not considered before as well as helpful
resources.
I loved that there was practical information that we can put into place
immediately. I also liked that you had someone who was color blind
present on that topic.
Great information.
Very relevent!
Great information, I learned a lot!
Great presentations, please offer sessions like this in the future.
I was very uninformed and misinformed about how various disabilities
might be affected by items that I had previously never considered in my
everyday communication. Thank you so much for this information.
Good info, questions, dialogue.
Lots of information shared. I opened up about my eye stroke which was
embarrassing. I have worked around a lot of my sight problems except for
outlook being so bright and the font is not dark enough. IT couldn’t
help. I wish the others showed up to present today. Maybe do again with
them. I would like to be on the committee. Thanks

7/24/2023: ADA at UAMS
Having Lynn’s feedback was great. Michelle’s powerpoint was wonderful!
Thanks for everyone for putting this on.
Captions were great thank you for considering. Glad your agenda for the
week was online and public before this event, so we can plan!
Great presentation and suggestions. I appreciated learning about the
resources and best practices that can be implemented.
Learning about the various details of ADA sections and what is required
to meet expected accommodations was helpful.

7/28/2023: ADA and Me: Life with a Disability at UAMS
I appreciated the opportunity to hear the panel speakers’ experiences
here at UAMS. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve really appreciate all the hard work that the Disability
Subcommittee has put into this week’s events. I definitely want to
continue to see events like this shared throughout the campus and would
love some aspects of these events to be required or mandatory for
leadership. As someone with an invisible disability, I still struggle
with feeling like my campus understands accessibility in all its shapes
and sizes. Thank you to the subcommittee for continuing this important
work.

The panel discussion was excellent! I hope it happens again in the
future with different people.
