I have benefited greatly from the course Business Data Analytics for the R language. From the beginning, I was nervous about taking this kind of class, and I was worried about the fear of the unknown difficulty of the course. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to adapt to the pace of the English class and that I wouldn’t be able to understand what the teacher was saying. However, since taking this class, whenever we don’t understand something, the teaching assistant will patiently explain to us in Chinese what the professor has taught us, which makes me feel very warm. Since taking this course, I have gained a better understanding of some statistical concepts, data visualization techniques and common statistical analysis methods. In this course, I have learned some basic programming knowledge of R language, data visualization using R language, linear regression and logistic regression analysis of business data using R language. Among them, R language is a powerful data analysis and statistical modeling tool, which can be used for efficient business data analysis; data visualization transforms data into readable and easy-to-understand charts and graphs, and data can be better understood through effective data visualization; linear regression analysis and logistic regression analysis of business data using R language can be used in the fields of market research, sales forecast, customer behavior analysis, risk assessment, and other areas. By understanding the relationships between variables and predicting unknown data, you can make smarter business decisions, optimize marketing strategies, and improve business efficiency and profitability.
